As a Senior Urban Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the cityscapes of diverse regions, including Dubai, Saudi Arabia, and other emerging markets. Your expertise will contribute to the development of innovative and sustainable urban design solutions that enrich the lives of communities in these rapidly evolving environments. The Senior Urban Designer may be required to fulfill duties as detailed below on single or multiple projects or working on strategic / special tasks and business.

Qualifications and Key Skills:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban Design, Urban Planning, Architecture, or a related field.
• Extensive experience (typically 7+ years) in urban design projects, with a focus on diverse regions, including Dubai, Saudi Arabia, or other emerging markets.
• Proficiency in urban design software, such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and GIS tools.
• Strong understanding of urban planning principles, zoning regulations, and sustainability standards.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide junior designers within the team.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, facilitating effective collaboration with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.
• A portfolio demonstrating successful urban design projects, showcasing innovative and sustainable design solutions.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• Membership in relevant professional organizations or urban planning associations.
• Experience working with governmental authorities in Dubai, Saudi Arabia, or other regions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and direction for urban design projects across different regions, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Conduct comprehensive site analysis and research to gain insights into local cultures, norms, and regulations, shaping contextually sensitive design solutions.
• Generate innovative urban design concepts that encompass public spaces, streetscapes, green areas, and transportation networks to enhance urban experiences.
• Collaborate seamlessly with architecture and planning teams to integrate urban design principles into comprehensive development proposals.
• Utilize cutting-edge 3D modeling and visualization tools to effectively communicate design proposals to clients and stakeholders.
• Engage in public participation initiatives to gather feedback, promoting community-driven and inclusive design practices.
• Stay at the forefront of urban design trends, sustainability practices, and technological advancements, infusing the firm with innovation.
• Perform other duties of a similar nature and level.
