DSA were delighted to host a visit by members of the School of Design & Architecture from Manipal University in Dubai, to the Nikki Beach development.
Resident, Project Architect Conrad Burger and Senior Site Architect Wellington Kambarami explained the complex architectural and interior details on the project and explained the many varied facets of carrying out the design execution and Contract Management on such a complex and large scale development. Following a site walk, the students were then treated to a tour of the site office where Conrad and Wellington took them through the documentation and other key aspects associated with delivering professional design and Lead Consultancy services

The visit to the Nikki beach Resort on both days were very enriching to understand the design and construction process of a large scale development.I appreciate your team’s efforts in enlightening the student community and look forward for such coordinations in future in the form of visits, guest talks, workshops or internships too. The Nikki Beach Resort is currently in the final stages of handover for the Hotel portion with the Beach Club and private villas already completed and the Residential components following in due course
The visit was organised as part of DSA’s active involvement and commitment to the Emirates Green Building Council, which encourages and facilitates such informative events for local institutions and a teaching platform to further locally produced talent.
